The Associação de Escolas de Segunda Oportunidade is the Project Coordinator and leads the works related to the project management, the accreditation model for Second Chance Schools and co-leads the efforts for the elaboration of guidelines and recommendations for the establishment of SCS in Europe, both at local and policy-making levels.

In S2CENE – Strengthening Second Chance Networks in Europe, is the partner responsible of dissemination, quality assurance and co-leads together with AE2O the elaboration of guidelines and recommendations for the establishment of Second Chance Schools in Europe.
The New Bulgarian University has led the research about the state-of-the-art of Second Chance Schools in Europe, deepening into its origin, evolution and trends; and comparing the different realities. NBU will also lead the identification and analysis of best practices existent in the field of SCSs around Europe, aiming to inspire other organisations to embrace the SCS as a model for training and social inclusion of young adults.
The European Network of Second Chance School is together with AE2O the expert partner on Second Chance Education. Their main responsibility at S2CENE is to plan and organize the Awareness Actions (both at National and European level) to raise interest on Second Chance Schools and set the basis for new networks to join.
Dante School is an institution of adult education with large experience on capacitation and training of professionals of the area.
Their main role in the project is to design and elaborate the skillset profile for SCS professionals, resulting in a capacitation programme that will be published as a toolkit to be used by professionals of the area.
