What is the objective of S2CENE project?
Second Chance Schools’ (SCS) program was launched by the European Commission 20 years ago as a strategic measure to address the serious social problem of low qualifications and employability of young people. The measure widespread across Europe, although at very different levels of development, integration in education and training systems and sustainability.
SCS have been proving their relevance and efficiency in addressing early leaving from education and training and social exclusion of young people, reengaging learners in education by developing high quality training programs based on their needs, desires and abilities and offering young people a safe and friendly space to discover themselves and to build their life projects. SCS are nowadays strategic in Europe for the capacity building and social and professional inclusion of young adults.
