S2CENE’s National Awareness Actions

S2CENE’s partners have successfully organized today, 13th of October of 2022, their National Awareness Actions within the frame of the ERASMUS+ Days, an initiative to raise awareness about the existence of Second Chance Schools, and discuss the state of the question in Europe.

The events, organized jointly under the title “Second Chance Schools into Scene: Raising Awareness Throughout Europe”, had place simultaneously in Portugal, Bulgaria and Croatia, and counted with the participation of the 5 members of the consortium (Associação de Escolas da Segunda Oportunidade – AE2O, New Bulgarian University – NBU, Škola Dante, INOVA+ and European Network of Second Chance Schools – E2C Europe). While Portugal has a consolidated network of second chance schools and the discussion was more focused on sharing practices and experiences, these events were truly remarkable for both Croatia and Bulgaria, countries where our partners are trying to create Second Chance Centres that will evolve in their own national networks.

The Actions included appearance by Luis Mesquita (Director of AE2O and S2CENE’s Coordinator) and Céline Maillot (Manager of E2C Europe and leader of the organization of the events). Their interventions were simultaneously broadcasted in the three countries through live streaming in S2CENE’s Youtube Channel and they will remain available here.
