3rd S2CENE Transnational Project Meeting

S2CENE travels to Paris for the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting of the project, which will be held in Paris between 4th and 6th of July, 2022. The meeting agenda will include a summary of the progress made so far in the different areas of the project, particularly on the elaboration of local and policy-level strategies for the establishment of Second Chance Schools in Europe.

Another capital subject that the partners will discuss and work on will be how to implement awareness actions related to the social need of these schools, remarking their importance in the field of adult education.

Additionally, on 5 July 2022 from 14:00 to 18:30, the European Association for Second Chance Schools (E2C EUROPE), is organizing a big, open event on the topic “Second Chance Schools in Europe: A pillar for inclusion in quality education systems”. Mrs. Édith Cresson, French Prime Minister from 1991 to 1992 and European Commissioner from 1995 to 1999, who initiated the SCS scheme, will be the guest of honour at this event.
