Accreditation Models

Aiming at:
• Contributing to the design of a Second Chance Schools accreditation model, suitable to be implemented at national and/or European level;
• Involving staff members of the partnership involved in the process of co-design of the accreditation model;
• Endowing staff members of the partnership of knowledge, competences, and resources to introduce and support other professionals in the establishment, maintenance and/or strengthening of Second Chance Schools;

the partners dedicated themselves to the identification and description of accreditation models used in the education and training sector, specifically in Second Chance Schools existent in different countries.

The presentation below is a summary of the results found through the creation of the 7 handouts describing these existing accreditation models.

Below are the 7 interactive handouts (available for downloading and printing) related to accreditation models used in the education and training sector, specifically in Second Chance Schools (1 per country of the partnership – Portugal, France, Bulgaria and Croatia – and 3 from other European countries – Spain and Ireland), which were presented and discussed in the Workshop of Staff in Bulgaria, as basis for the identification and definition of the features to structure a S2CENE stamped Second Chance Schools accreditation model.
