UNESCO has released its 5th Global Report on Adult Learning and Education

UNESCO has released its 5th Global Report on Adult Learning and Education, with the title “Citizenship education: Empowering adults for change”, in which remarks the needs to do a global effort in the inclusion of adults in the education systems of the member countries.

The report points out the importance to reach out to anyone in need, independently of their origins, sex, gender or economic level.

Without being mentioned it explicitly, it is easy to understand how Second Chance Schools give an early and efficient answer to the problems identified and addressed by the document, an extensive study in over 150 countries all around the world.
