2nd Transnational Project Meeting in Sofia!

S2CENE partners met in Sofia, Bulgaria for a two days face-to-face meeting and workshop.
The 2nd project meeting was held in a hybrid format, on the 2nd and 3rd November and was hosted by New Bulgarian University.

Day 1

Get together moment, sharing who we are and what our role in the project is!

Discussing the current status of the project different Work Packages.

Getting to know an Bulgairan inspiring example of an educational innovative approach! The School “Dimitar Ekimov” Rusalya – An unusual, yet innovative school concept that aims to support disadvantaged students.

Exploring the results of a research paper: The Right to a Second Chance – Lessons learned from the voices of young adults who left and returned to education.

Day 2

A brainwriting session to discuss the concept of Second Chance Schools, in particular, the following topics:
1) What is a Second Chance Education School?
2) Which learning methods, techniques and activities are commonly used in SCE?
3) What competencies and characteristics adult professionals need to have to be successful in SCE?

A working session that dived deep into 7 existing accreditation models that can serve of inspiration for S2CENE model. This practical session ended with a video recording moment!

As to wrap up the two days, a detailed discussion was fostered, with a focus on the different project Work Packages: WP1, WP2, WP5, WP6, WP7 and WP8.
The meeting ended with an informal moment which reflected on the main takeaways of the two days.
